Week 44 ::
When I look at this photograph, I see potential. I see pleasure on both sides of the lens. And I see many years to come…

I’ve never been a big Monet fan, but your photo is beautiful.
It is beautiful…
Such a precious photo, Cyn. Love it.
Fantastic shot!
LOVE this! Those expressions are priceless!
Oh, spring sports. Love em and hate em.

Week 33 ::
We’ve lived in this house for about eight years. Every spring, this one hyacinth pokes its head out of the ground and says hello. Then, it gets broken by big dog paws or picked by little hands or crushed by getting-bigger-all-the-time boy feet. It never gets a chance to bloom properly.
Cross your fingers… 2011 may be it’s year to shine!

Love it! We put up our swing set 4 years ago. It’s been used everyday since in snow or sunshine. One of the best investments we ever made!
Fabulous photo! Love you words. Perfect.
You can’t beat an afternoon in a hammock! Fun!
~Kim
This is a big deal! It requires skill, concentration, coordination and guts. He should be proud!
I do the same w/ Sophie. She’s a princess in his eyes.
Oh my goodness…. what a sweetie.
Such a love note that is!!
So stinkin’ cute!!!
oh…my…God! How adorable!
Oh. My. Bring me a box of Kleenex. You and M are doing something right *sob*
Oh that’s beautiful!The best love letter ever…

On my gosh- I would have burst into tears! And then slept with that under my pillow every night! 😉
Fabulous photo! Do your kids get REALLY dramatic when they knock you off the board with a Sorry? Mine have a forceful hand snap that sends my little yellow self flying across the room followed by an evil laugh.
P.S. Go Team Mom!
Scout, you are a looker!
*Oh* Sweet
Beautiful bird! Great photo! I love it when wildlife cooperates.
Wow! Spectacular! Love love love. This guy looks like a Barred Owl. We have two great horned owls who party all night outside our bedroom window. I’ve never caught them with my camera. Awesome job!!
Stupendous! What a treat for all of us. Thank you for sharing 🙂
Oh, my! Beautiful!
Such a sweet photo. Love it. Happy Holidays, Cyn!

Week 17 ::
We have family in Colorado and visit about twice a year. We made a quick trip there this weekend for a wedding. The body does not adapt to time zone changes quickly, so I was up at dawn. Luckily, that’s when the deer graze through the grasses of the wise people who do not landscape their lawns, but let nature take over.

Week 16 ::
There is a bit more grey on the chin.
And the grey has reached her smile.
But this dog hangs with me when I run and can out-swim most any dog.
I wish we could be old ladies together.

Looks like a sweet dog! Great pic!
what a precious face. i love the words you chose as well.

I love it! It’s great too see him, it gives me a more compete picture of who you are. That’s an impressive move, btw.
Gorgeous! We raked the backyard, but didn’t get to the front before the snow. If you need to get to my front door, you’ll be met with the biggest pile of leaves you’ll ever see. Love my trees, except in November.
Good thing you got a beautiful picture first!

Week 12 ::
I don’t often get truly surprised when I hike/run on familiar trails. I appreciate being outside and enjoying nature as much as possible and when I see something I’ve never seen before, it is remarkable.
This shock of pink was so pretty, I used my cell phone to capture the image. I wish I had my regular camera, but feel lucky to have captured what I saw that morning. A friend on Flickr likened it to Monet and she is oh so right.

Lovely! What a sweet gift to receive while on your outing! 🙂
Thank you for sharing with us
Wow! Wow! Wow!

Week 9 ::
Just spent a lovely weekend in Cape Cod, Magic-chussettes (as my 5yo says.) My husband and I were alone together for about 48 hours for the first time since the first boy was born. We’ve had a few overnights in these past years, but not TWO! We will definitely be making that a yearly tradition. And walking the beach in fall was a great experience.

what a gorgeous photos! good for you getting away for a couple of days. isn’t it just so rejuvenating? i’m envious, i wish I could jet off to cape cod so readily 😉
How wonderful for both of you! Definitely make it a yearly thing, at least! You deserve it. O also think it’s great for the kids to see you go off as a couple.

Week 8 ::
Living in the Northeast in the autumn means fresh apples. We’re fortunate to live so close to many orchards that have fresh, organic apples plucked right off the trees. And I’m so glad that both my boys like to eat apples… maybe a little too enthusiastically, huh?

I’m entering this photo in I Heart Faces Weekly Photo Contest this week. Angie and Amy run a great site – you should check it out!

That apple looks good! great picture!
Tamar
Definitely enthusiastic. Nice shot.
Now that is one enthusiastic apple eater : ) So sweet!
LOL! Awesome.
Cute shot!
I love how his face scrunched up as he bites into the apple… so cute!
That scrunched up face is fantastic…. this is one of those times when wrinkles are a good thing.
Too Cute LOL. You can tell he is really enjoying that apple.

Week 4 ::
The first day of fall and this is the last Daylily. There is something about the light around this time of year that seems to bring out vibrant colors in a striking way (see tomato in yesterday’s post here.) Maybe it’s engineered that way here in the Northeast, so when those vibrant colors are a memory, you cherish them even more.

I love this image. The more you carry your camera around, the more you will notice the beauty surrounding you. Even my husband says he notices beautiful clouds or a cool flower thanks to my photography obsession. Someone recently said to me, people who hide behind their cameras miss out on the experience of life. I completely disagree. I think I notice more of the detail of life, which makes every day much sweeter than before.
I love this photo. The perspective is perfect. It’s great how the top and bottom of the photo fades away. Nice job. I agree with Angie. I’ve noticed more of the details in our lives and when I look back on my photos I have vivid memories of what we were doing, where we were, etc. Much more meaningful to me.
Thank you both for the compliments! Let me get on my soapbox for a moment:
When applied the way it’s intended, photography enhances your experiences. It doesn’t overshadow them. And I look forward to seeing my friend’s photos as much as my own to “see” what they’re up to. Let’s keep shooting, ladies!
This is beautiful Cyn!! What a great picture!
Yee haw!!! What a great way to kick off your 52. Awesome.
OOH! pretty pretty pretty! THe blue wall behind those glorious pinks is PERFECT!
