OM :: The End of Vacation

I am always amazed at the complex feelings at the end of a family vacation.

There were great moments, crappy moments, fun times, utterly annoying times, crazy travel, uneventful travel, sweet family moments and times when I craved a sound-proof hyperbolic chamber.

But when it ends, I feel wistful, but full of relief. Vacation is like a small snippet of life – the good with the bad, the pretty with the ugly and the reward of home at the end of it.
