It’s the time of year when I feel myself being pulled to New York City and the Jacob Javits Center. If you make, buy or just love paper, the National Stationery Show is the place to be. But, alas, I will not be there.
I have walked the floor of the show the past two years, (reviewed here and here for 2009 and here for 2010, if you’re curious.) Not showing is a difficult decision, but I feel in my bones, that it is the right one (even if that little voice in my head is sighing heavily.)
My moment is not just feeling right in my difficult decision, but realizing that I am maturing with my business. I’m feeling smarter and savvier and willing myself to be patient for the “right” time and place.
OM is *one moment* and is a meetup designed to notice & relish a moment in everyday life. The meetup idea was created by Linda at her blog, a la mode stuff. If you’d like to participate in OM, just click the button and you’ll be taken to Linda’s post explaining it all.

You know, just this past weekend I attended the International Quilt Market which was here in Salt Lake City, and I felt very similar to you. This has been a goal of mine for the past year, but now that I’m pregnant, I just know this isn’t the time –maybe in 2-3 years. I think being patient is wise. You have created something amazing so far, just keep stepping ahead 😉
