Jam has always been something special to me, whether it’s a simple strawberry or a more exotic, herb-infused creation. I am a food fan that gets excited about jam.
When I found Shae’s blog, Hitchhiking to Heaven, I was drawn in by her beautiful photography, lovely writing style and her love of birds. And the Jam! Oh, the combination of flavors that Shae uses with her fruit are heavenly. I also admire her experimentation with sugar alternatives and jamming without pectin. As you read her blog, Shae’s passion and care for life come through in everything she posts. It is eye candy with sweet substance.
I wanted to share some of Shae’s preserving-genius, so I’ll be giving away two copies of her eBook featuring her prize-winning recipes from 2010. I definitely would try shae’s famous meyer lemon marmalade first. I’ve tried some of her other marmalades and they’re amazing!
I’d very much like to try the blackberry with Lime jam. I love limes and love black berries and I’m dying to see how they taste together. π
