Dog Stalker :: Aggie

It’s been awhile for a little stalking, but I’m back in action and have a Super Doodle to introduce you to… Aggie (fab name) lives with her human, Patti, and the rest of her family in the Northeast US. Patti runs Easton Place Designs, where she makes pretty paper goods. Let’s meet them both.

I’m a Wunder-Dog

How old are you?
28 dog years old

Where did you come from (pound, rescue, breeder)?
I’ve been told I came from a breeder but I’m not sure what that is.

What nicknames do the humans call you?
Doodle, Aggie-Doodle, Puppy-face and Hoover when I clean up crumbs.

Do you like any of your nicknames?
Aggie-Doodle

What is your favorite walk/hike?
I like going to Lake Mohegan in Fairfield, but my favorite place is Myanis (spelling?) River Park when my family rides their mountain bikes and I get to lead!

What kind of pack dog are you (the A-dog; in the middle; ready to please)?
I will do whatever my family needs me to do!

What toy(s) would you recommend to other dogs?
A Wubba, Webkinz, and any tennis ball!

What is your go to toy?
The Wubba

What is the most fashionable thing you wear?
I LOVE my necklaces.

If you’re a reader, what is your favorite book?
Good Dog Carl and Dog’s Day are two of my favorites!

What is the oddest thing you’ve ever done?
My family thinks it’s weird that I swallow socks… whole. Huh?

What is your favorite thing to roll in?
Fresh cut grass in the Summer and Fresh fallen snow in the Winter!

When you bark to other dogs, what do you usually say?
Over here! I’m available to play! Friend!, Friend! I’m available to play!!!

What is the treat you will do anything for?
Steak

What act caused you to receive the greatest punishment?
I once ate 1/2 of my “brother’s” chocolate birthday cake. My “mom” made me drink medicine to throw up. 🙁

How do you feel about cats?
I have a cat!! I love him. I try to play tag with him but he’s not very good at it. He just lays down and yells at me.

What is your greatest skill?
I am very good at helping my family find their way out of the forest when they get lost! They tell a lot of people about this skill of mine 🙂

If you could speak only one sentence in your human’s language, what would you say?
I love you, family.

What is your favorite human food?
Steak

If you could be granted 3 wishes, what would they be?
1. I wish eating socks was allowed.
2. I wish my cat would play with me.
3. I wish my family and I all slept in one big den!

What do you love most about your human?
My whole family loves me and I know this because they hug and kiss me all day long AND they play with me all the time!

Come, sit, stay, shake, hi-5, Up, jump, In, no, wait-for-it, yes-take-it!, Do you want a treat? hurry-hurry, go pee-pee, roll-over, Feed-the-puppy

What is the best thing you’ve taught your dog?
“Come!” It keeps her safe when we take her for a hike!

Are you the leader of your pack?
Yes!

Do you have other animals?
A cat (Sam) and two male human animals ages 10 & 12. LOL

How does your dog make you laugh?
We love when Aggie covers her face with her paws. And we love when she bounces like Tigger from Winnie the Pooh.

Is there any weird behavior you’d like to share about your dog?
Not really. Aggie eats socks, but I understand that’s common.

What is your favorite walk/hike to take?
I like walking on the road with Aggie on a leash. I think she prefers off leash though. 😉

What toy(s) would you recommend to other dog owners?
The large Wubba for sure!

What is the best toy you’ve given your dog?
The wubba.

Where does your dog sleep?
She slept in a crate for the first 2 years of her life. Now she sleeps in the dining room on a really comfy dog bed. (gates in place)

If your dog could speak only one sentence, what would he/she say?
I hope she would say “I love you” 🙂

What is the most annoying behavior your dog exhibits?
Aggie barks A LOT at anything in her yard. She’s very protective of her yard. But at 2:00 a.m. it’s quite annoying.

Does your dog wear anything fashionable?
Just two collars.


Has your dog ever destroyed anything in your home?
When she was a puppy, we mistakenly left her unattended and she ate several large holes into our two leather club chairs. She also ate one Italian leather sandal. Again… my fault for leaving her alone and out of her crate.

What do you love most about your dog?
Her loyalty combined with her love for her family and gentle spirit.
