Hello Packaging! with Treefort Naturals

If you are a maker of products, you know that changing your packaging is a scary endeavor. It doesn’t matter if you created your current labels and tags with great care or if you made something in a rush for your first craft show that just STUCK. Making a big change to suit your brand requires some risk.
A Marriage of Kraft and Black
Jess from Treefort Naturals and I work together frequently to create different aspects of her business branding. We created her logo together, using her sketch of a tree and ladder. We’ve made it possible for her to have a DIY option that is branded and professional for labeling her soaps.

As her business grew, Jess felt that some of her packaging needed a facelift, while still being connected to her natural kraft vibe. Working together with me and a printing partner (to get the color details just right), Treefort Naturals was able to update the look of many of their special bath and natural skincare products, using sophisticated black labels and tags, combined with kraft lettering.

Changing your packaging and labels can be nerve-wracking (and more than a bit of work), but the end result can be scary good! If you have the feeling that you’d like to explore new package designs, get in touch at hello [at] cynthomas [dot] com.
Electronic Press Kit with The Fit Equestrian

Do You Need an Electronic Press Kit (EPK)?
A great way to contact the press and spread the word about your business is with a well-designed EPK. With an interactive element, connecting your business with clickable links in the press kit, critical information is at the recipients’ fingertips.
If you think an electronic press kit is a good fit for your business, email me at hello [at] cynthomas [dot] com.

Automate Your Orders with this Interactive PDF

Filling wholesale orders from retailers can be time consuming for you and for your stockists. Whether your stockist is still fond of fax machines or you haven’t built your online order system yet, using an interactive PDF can make ordering effortless.
One of my clients, Roost Candle Co., requested an order form for her wholesale orders. I created a form that contains all her candles and scents with sizes/weights and appropriate prices for each.

As a retailer fills out the form, the totals for each product are calculated as they are entered and a grand total (less shipping & fees) is calculated. This makes it easy to adjust ordering to a specific budget and meet minimums for individual products and minimum dollar amounts.
Will all your retailers be able to use this PDF? Yes! It is created to work in Adobe’s free PDF reader. Once it is set with your brand’s logo, color scheme, and products, it’s as easy as sending via email or adding to your website for download.

Gender Reveal with Brimmer Boys

When a client comes up with a new packaging idea that’s fun and innovative, I want to make sure her vision is realized in the end result.
Jaclyn of Brimmer Boys, who designs special occasion clothing to help moms dress their sons with classic and effortless style, wanted to create a gender reveal package using her bow ties and hair bows.
Labels to the rescue
Designing one large sticker label for the top of the box and another reveal-worthy sticker for the inside was a simple, economical solution with a dramatic effect. Using the boy and girl silhouettes in classic gender colors aligns with Brimmer Boys brand and that touch of gingham is on of my favorites.
What a fun way to surprise someone before that very special moment.

All the Marketing Materials – Brimmer Boys

Ever since working together to create her logo, Jaclyn of Brimmer Boys, and I have created some of my most favorite branding materials. We’ve created tags and cards and packaging that all showcase her business’s classic, preppy brand with a little gingham and an extra dose of navy.
Do I Need Marketing Materials?
Marketing materials can help you give your customers a clear view of your brand and what your business is all about. Whether it’s thank you cards, shipping envelopes, business cards, product tags and labels, or postcards, every element can visually communicate your style and substance.
Branded Postcards

One great example of economical marketing is the branded postcard. Postcards are versatile. You can use them as a thank you to your customers; they can be inserted in shipments as gift notes, you can send them to potential retailers or established customers announcing a new product. Endless possibilities await when you have a well-designed, printed postcard at your fingertips.

Branded Packaging
Everyone likes getting mail, right? You can increase those good vibes by branding up your packaging! When you ship your products in branded mailers or use logo tape on boxes, it makes receiving your mail all the more exciting. It tells the recipient that this package is special.
