My Creative Space :: 005

Today, I was able to finish a wedding suite for my father-in-law. Everything is printed, cut, lined and wrapped up, on its way to his home out west. I’m very happy with how everything came out and very happy to check it off my list!

I know it just moved into fall in the eastern US, but *The Holidays* are looming large in my studio. Sweet doggie photo cards to bring in the new year. 2011 will be here sooner than we think!

Working with some of the patterned papers I designed for a special holiday project today. It’s the first time I’m making something bigger than a card, tag or notepad, so it is challenging. But exciting too!

The tags I created for canning jars are being used as part of the favors for a fall wedding. I’m so honored and humbled to be a small part of the couples’ celebration. Off to thread the baker’s twine!

  1. I love stripey string, it looks so snazzy! How fun to be involved in a wedding, do you get to go as well? Have a happy, productive week x

My Creative Space

I first saw my creative space on sara’s blog for 5 o’clock crows. What a great idea to get a small peek into someone’s craft.

I’m creating tags for someone’s baby shower. I’ve made so many tags with this little elephant that I should get tired of seeing him (and yes, he is a him.) But, I love him. Maybe that is what creating is all about… crafting something that you like to experience over and over again. I wonder when I hear someone like James Taylor sing Fire and Rain for the upteenth time how he can enjoy it. Fire and Rain must be his little elephant.
