I have been working out of my comfort zone on my Cat+Pattern calendar. I’ve been sketching the backgrounds (they will all be different kinds of windows) and coloring them with watercolors. Then the digitally-created classic fabric patterns and cats are placed on top of the backgrounds. I’m digging the results, even though I sometimes feel out of my element.
