I’ve been planning to update my blog roll for quite awhile. I’ve been procrastinating because I wanted to do it “right” with images in a visual way. But really, I kind of like my sidebar and what it’s got going on. I’m proud to display the blogs in written form and handy links to their latest posts, instead of waiting to have pretty images. Those are the bones over there ====> and they all represent good writing, which is what I’m always drawn to first with a blog.
My plan is to add one blog a month to the Blog Love section. Before that though, I wanted to add some friends that I read daily, who inspire me, write well and have some kickin’ blogs. They are (in no particular order):

Linda’s blog, a la mode stuff, is full of great design, humor, photography and thoughtful posts. A recent post that resonated with me was about doing what you like to do, in regards to your business, instead of what you’re supposed to do. I like throwing out expectations and going with your gut. Linda is able to do that in a classy, funny and beautiful way.
I can’t remember how I first encountered Candy, but I remember thinking that this women is full of positive energy and is a crafting powerhouse. Her blog, Candied Fabrics, is a colorful, entertaining place that highlights her enthusiasm for craft and makery and family and business acumen. Her path through this life is so enjoyable to experience, you must jump on and take the ride with her.
I knew of Angie through Modish Biz Tips monthly meetup and had a paper-related question that I posed to her through email. She sent me a kind and funny response and a true friendship was born. Her blog, Jumping Jack Designs, is full of beautiful images of both her photographs and her paper goods. I love watching her journey of becoming a first-rate photographer. And her stationery lines and custom work rocks. Through her images and her words, Angie tells the story of her family, her business and her beloved Reno, in a warm, humorous and engaging way.
There are so many women in this on-line community that work and care-take and mother and have turned our economy around, all with a sense of humor and grace. The amazing women above are just a few of my favorites.
