I’m off with my family on a winter break for a week, but thought it would be a good idea to showcase the best of my OM [one moment] posts.
OM is a meetup every Friday to reflect on one moment that is meaningful to you. The moments the participants have shared are funny, poignant, silly, deep… a whole range of experiences and emotions that really showcase how much common ground we share. I urge you to join this meetup, created by the simply awesome, Linda of a la mode. I look forward to the writing and reading of moments every week and I hope you will too.

If you visit here, you know I live with all boys. It’s a unique experience, to say the least and to keep my sanity, I must share the boy happenings from time to time.Life with Boys is going to be one of my “themes” next year. I’m one of those people that needs to think in themes/features, at least when it comes to blogging and this indie biz. More on those plans in the months to come…
Here’s a quick snapshot of my five-year-old:
(warning: graphic boy info coming)
When Eli has to do #2, he has adopted his own version of the George Costanza method. He closes the door (bless him), locks it, then completely disrobes. If he is in the half bathroom on the 1st floor, he will take his pile of clothes and put them through the cat door, out into the hallway.
Much singing and what I think is Tae Kwon Do moves will resound from the WC. When all is complete, a little hand will reach through the kitty door and retrieve his clothes. He exits the loo like it’s the most normal thing in the world.

Oh Cyn! I’m still plowing through a backlog of posts in google reader (although flipbook is beautiful, I’ve found it too hard to actually dig through the read posts to get to the older unread posts, so just this morning I’m trying out another reader and am finding it much easier to do this…in bed! Hooray iPad!)
ANYWAY…this post made me laugh AGAIN! Between this and the pee bottle…well your family is just too funny, and you have an awesome way of portraying them through the printed word!
