Admitting Your Problem is the First Step

I can’t help myself… I’ve done another redesign of my site. Could this be a problem? It’s almost compulsive and when I start to tweak, I can’t stop. I’m happy with the end result though. So, how much of a problem can it be?

Last night, my dad went into the hospital by ambulance with shortness of breath. When I left at 2am (when these things always seem to happen), he was resting comfortably. He’ll be there the next few days for tests and hopefully will be able to go home. We don’t know exactly the cause, but it seems to point to his heart. He can be very hard-headed about things, but has learned that health-wise, it’s important to admit a problem. Think good thoughts for that 79-year-old man, would you?

I’ll be Pinning it Forward on Wednesday, so come on back to see how I see Home.

  1. How’s your dad? Admitting can be so difficult sometimes.
My dad is stubborn about these things, too. I’m thinking of you!

BTW, we should start a group for compulsive web redesigners. Actually, I’m sure there is one already in existence.

  2. I hope your dad is ok. Sometimes those stubborn old guys have to be cornered to get the care they need. I hope everything goes smoothly.

I love your revamp. It looks fantastic.

  3. Thanks both of you! My dad is wired up and being tested through tomorrow. We’ll have a better idea what’s going on then. He’s tough 🙂

Compulsive is the perfect word for me in regards to tweaking my site. A group would be great, “Hi, my name is Cyn and I’m a Compulsive Coder.”
