My husband caught a glimpse of this guy (girl?) out the window and I dashed for our camera. Luckily, instead of flying away with all the commotion, the owl just sat calmly and posed. Thanks Hedwig.

Wow! Spectacular! Love love love. This guy looks like a Barred Owl. We have two great horned owls who party all night outside our bedroom window. I’ve never caught them with my camera. Awesome job!!
