Sometimes, I feel like I live in a bubble. I may be jinxing myself here, but I have the most positive experiences with my current career. And women, for the most part, are responsible for that.
I hear and read stories of the negativity that looms and attacks, one woman to another. I also have seen it written more than once that you haven’t really become successful until you have haters. That is whack.
I don’t feel naive. I feel lucky. I feel surrounded by women who do their thing, whatever it is, and do it to the best of their ability. They share. They support. They make their world beautiful with craft or words or children.
I don’t want to misrepresent reality. My world, and I’m sure the world of these women, is not all rainbows and butterflies. We have moments of self-doubt, resentment and crankiness. It’s what we do with these emotions that express who we are.
I find it amazing that I can ask someone to help me whom I’ve never met and she comes through with willingness and grace. My moment: I’m overwhelmed with this positivity and proud of the way women are.
I hope you’re in my bubble.
It really is big enough for all of us.

Cyn,
What a beautiful post! I’m in your bubble 🙂
Thank you for the positive energy this chilly, but sunny, Friday.
Have a lovely weekend, friend.
LOVE this!!!! Yay Bubble!
I feel the exact same way. Life is crazy enough without adding social drama. Long live the bubble!
I think it’s a choice who we allow to influence and affect our lives. That you are surrounded by positive people is a reflection of your positive outlook, Cyn.
I also believe that giving and sharing is the best way to grow personally, in your business, and in life. I’ve seen wonderful things happen when I’ve allowed myself to open up to ideas, people, and possibilities.
I feel like I should break out into song.
Oh my word, what a FABULOUS post! I want to shout this from the roof tops!! I couldn’t agree more with you, and I absolutely agree with what Linda said about how this is a reflection of you and all your wonderfulness 😉
I really believe that people, and relationships, above all else, is one of our most precious gifts and resources in life. We need to cherish them!
Amen Sister!!!
I love this post! I feel the same way about the “bubble” that you are referring to. I have totally enjoyed becoming a part of a community of caring and awesomely talented ladies! That’s how it should be. No haters!
