I received the loveliest email from a customer yesterday. She wanted to express her appreciation for the personal touch on my packaging (yea June Goals!) and to thank me for the handwritten note I had placed with her order.
I’ve been including handwritten notes with every order for awhile now. It just feels right, especially when I’m using someone’s personal photos to compliment my card’s design. Customers always send photos that touch them in some way and I take it as my responsibility to take care and take note of the subject they are sharing.
It feels worthwhile to pick up a favorite pen and write words that might make someone else feel good. I appreciate my customer’s words of encouragement more than she knows.
