The Miro Abstract Drawing Lab was to create images in Miro’s style. This lab felt comfortable and fun. I felt like I was using both sides of my brain – the right to create the images and the left to connect them to one another. As with all my drawings, I used a variety of drawing and coloring tools, among them were a drawing pencil, a drawing pen, colored permanent markers, highlighters and colored pencils. There is also a watercolor background.
Love Miro’s trippy aesthetic:

My friend, Angie, is having a link-up for the book, Drawing Lab on her blog. She’s going to attempt weekly labs with the three generations of her family and is inviting anyone else to draw along. Stop by to post your link with her lab or just take a look at all the participant’s drawings.

This is just cool. Great colors and energy. The cat would make a great card!
Nice job! It turned out great. I would have liked this assignment.
