I took an art class that had an assignment to create a piece of art from a memory of childhood. I had a great swing in our backyard that I used as often as possible and wanted to recreate the mood of that swing and of the 70s. The only thing missing is me! That is my next step… to overcome my hesitation to draw humans and place 7-year-old me in the piece.
