One Little Word 2012 :: Clarity

For the past couple years, I’ve been choosing a word to take me through the year, to guide my goals and actions, to help define possibilities.

I loved my word choice last year of Harmony. It’s a fantastic word to live by, but I don’t think I did it as much justice as it deserved. A little encouragement and accountability seemed to be in order for this year. Enter Ali EdwardsOne Little Word workshop from Big Picture Classes. Instead of winging this concept on my own, the workshop will provide prompts, support and a physical manifestation of my word throughout the year.

As you can see, the word I chose is Clarity. If I believed in perfection (I don’t), this word would come close to being the perfect word for the precise time in my life that I need it. I’ll be able to see its affects across all the facets of my life and I’m hopeful that it will enrich and encourage throughout 2012.

The “kind-of dorky” picture above is part of the album I’ll be putting together for the workshop. (It is where both of us hang out on a daily basis.) Each month, I’ll give an update and share a bit of the album I’m creating. This process, or resolution, or whatever you choose to call the energy everyone has at the beginning of a new year, is something I’m excited to begin. Hope you are ready for the possibilities of 2012.
