We try to seek out books that have a little (or a lot) of humor and great illustrations. And if the book features little boys to boot, well, that’s a winner in our house. A Couple of Boys Have the Best Week Ever by Marla Frazee spends a week with James and Eamon attending Nature Camp while staying with Eamon’s grandparents at their beach house. It’s charming, irreverent and the illustrations warmly capture boyhood.
