Our girl had to have a cyst removed from her eyelid, which required general anaestetic and a whole day at the vet.<\/p>\n<p>Scout has never had to wear a cone before and it has been a pain in the arse for all involved.  I feel badly for her because she basically has tunnel vision and her domain is our wooded yard.  To see her traversing her normal routes induces &#8220;Awww&#8230;&#8221;s and sad snickering.  And no one is going to miss the sound of plastic cone on furniture, trees, walls, door jambs, children and cabinetry.<\/p>\n<p>Complaining, done!  This is but a small blip in our family life, and in the end, makes us appreciate our healthy, daily lives all the more.  You rock that cone, Scout.
