The same day my dad was being released from the hospital after his open heart surgery.  I thought fo shizzle I was going to miss the ceremony.  I kept telling myself that it&#8217;s just a ten minute performance and if I miss it, it&#8217;s not the end of the world.  But I wasn&#8217;t believing a word of that.  Nothing could stand-in for the moment he looked out in the audience and saw me smiling proudly at his accomplishment.  And nothing did.<br \/>\n<img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/cynthomas.com\/rdpblog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2010\/06\/eli-b12.jpg\" alt=\"\" title=\"eli-b\" width=\"600\" height=\"600\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-2502\" \/><br \/>\n<img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/cynthomas.com\/rdpblog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2010\/06\/grad-226x3002.jpg\" alt=\"\" title=\"grad\" width=\"226\" height=\"300\" class=\"alignleft size-medium wp-image-2500\" \/>My youngest is now officially on his way to Kindergarten.  It has been an adventurous five years with him.  His life&#8217;s <a href=\"http:\/\/riverdogprints.com\/photocardblog\/?s=nicu\" target=\"_blank\">beginning<\/a> in this world was enormously difficult, but we&#8217;ve been blessed with his incredible resilience and crazy\/goofy ways.<br \/>\n<br \/>\nI don&#8217;t know what the next five years will bring, or the next, but with this boy, it will always be an adventure.<br \/>\n<P><br \/>\n<center>:::<\/center><br \/>\n<a href=\"http:\/\/www.alamodestuffblog.com\/2010\/04\/organizing-meet-up-om-one-moment-wanna.html\" target=\"_blank\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" alt=\"om [one moment] meet up\" src=\"http:\/\/cynthomas.com\/rdpblog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2010\/06\/OM_alamodemeetupbutton1.jpg\" class=\"alignleft height=\"90\" width=\"125\" border=\"0\" \/><\/a><br \/>\nOM is *one moment* and is a meetup designed to notice &#038; relish a moment in everyday life.
