Collecting Color is a bi-monthly post to share what you’re working on, photographing, DIY-ing, reading or making. Anything goes, as long as it’s colorful, creative and you share a link below.

The first thing I want to share is a print we’re considering for our home. My husband and I don’t know a lot about art, but we were fortunate enough to go to the Picasso exhibit last summer in NYC. We both really liked, Still Life with a Bottle of Rum (1911). Agreeing on artwork is a rarity, so I think this print will find a place in our home.
What color do you want to share today?

I would like to share the color orange! I just made a dog coat out of blue fleece with orange bones on it! The orange really pops out of the blue. The shades match perfectly and it isn’t too much as sometimes contrasting colors can be.

Thanks for this Cyn! You made me stop and look at my not-so-fabulous week and find a pop of color that truly brightened my life. What a great idea!
I love the Picasso print you’ve chosen. It’s a miracle when a married couple agrees on art, I say go for it!
