OM :: The Cat Door

If you visit here, you know I live with all boys. It’s a unique experience, to say the least and to keep my sanity, I must share the boy happenings from time to time.

Life with Boys is going to be one of my “themes” next year. I’m one of those people that needs to think in themes/features, at least when it comes to blogging and this indie biz. More on those plans in the months to come…

Here’s a quick snapshot of my five-year-old:
(warning: graphic boy info coming)

When Eli has to do #2, he has adopted his own version of the George Costanza method. He closes the door (bless him), locks it, then completely disrobes. If he is in the half bathroom on the 1st floor, he will take his pile of clothes and put them through the cat door, out into the hallway.

Much singing and what I think is Tae Kwon Do moves will resound from the WC. When all is complete, a little hand will reach through the kitty door and retrieve his clothes. He exits the loo like it’s the most normal thing in the world.

  1. Okay, I’m practically crying with laughter. I can so relate since I’m in a house full of boys myself. Do you consider your husband one of them? I do!

    I don’t know what it is about boys and their relationship with the WC, but mine have their own rituals. As I write this, my eldest is in his “office.” He went in 20 mins. ago when I went to the post office. Now I’m back. Still no sign of him. I don’t even want to know what’s going on in there.
