It’s the Wednesday before the show and I’m sure the exhibitors are pretty much prepped and ready to get this thing started! Below is my list of the paper peeps I’d like to see. They are a combination of people I adore, people who make beautiful paper that I cannot, people that use color in unexpected ways and people that make me laugh.
Bird Dog Press in Let{her}Press Booths 1555 & 1557
Alli is a fantastic designer and if I was to ever hire someone to make paper for me, she’d be my girl.
TamTam Design Studio Booth 1941
Tam’s use of color and embellishments are what I love about her designs.
SusyJack* Contemporary Paper Booth 2040
I not only love the patterns and colors that Susan uses, but the form+function quality of her stylish products speaks to my inner-organizer.
Blue Barnhouse Booth 2453
Paper and packaging with Attitude.
Night Owl Paper Goods Booths 1644 & 1646
Alan and Jennifer make the kind of paper goods you want to just hold in your hand and keep them there. I love how they take inspiration from nature and I admire their clever and folky ways.
Two Trick Pony Booth 1641
Eco-friendly with a vintage bent, Carrie and Laurie’s screen-printed greetings are just delightful!
Delphine Booth 2648
Smart and savvy, Erika has created beautiful designs and a fabulous website, where you can customize and preview your selections. I’m depressed about missing the mimosas in her booth on Monday. I see the color of the cocktails in my mind as that pretty green of Delphine Press’ logo.
Kelp Designs Booth 1563
Fresh patterns with an eco-friendly vibe, Katie creates colorful and pretty paper goods using soy and vegetable inks and the greenest of paper.
Mean Cards Booth 1645
I don’t think I laughed more than in this booth last year. I can’t wait to see what rudeness they come up with in 2010!
Some new exhibitors this year that I plan to visit:
Rifle Paper Co. Booths 3053 & 3055
Blackbird Letterpress Booth 1955
XO Greeting Booth: 2173
And one packaging company, new to the show this year, where I’ve been purchasing eco-friendly products and packaging items since 2004.
Nashville Wraps Booths 1425 & 1427
If you’re walking the show on Sunday, let me know! We can get all giddy on paper together.
